Cilliers Safaris is a reputed family-owned Safari Hunting and Photographic Outfit with over 30 years in the business. We ensure an exciting and unforgettable experience. We have an excellent track record for Big Game Hunting and Plains Game Hunting in Namibia. We specialise in Bow and Rifle Hunting on our private Game Ranch and adjacent property, Eden. We have designated bow hunting and rifle hunting areas only for the extreme Bow Hunters and Rifle Hunters.

With a total of a 160 000 acres of wild free-ranging land, your hunting opportunities are endless.

One of our specialities is hunting with the JU/Hoansi Bushman trackers. Their expertise in the fauna and flora is out of this world and their tracking skills is something you need to come and experience for yourself.

All Safaris are conducted in a traditional African Fashion with Chaled Camps for the more outgoing. Full service of staff from Trackers and Skinners to Camp and Kitchen Staff.

Our Hunting Camps consist of a thatched roof dining area and luxury chalets with en-suite bathrooms, which is situated in a remote surrounding, where one can experience the true luxury of camp life in the African bush.

BOWHUNTING

Bow Hunting was officially legalised in Namibia by The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in 1997. Since it was legalised Allan Cilliers Hunting Safaris, formally known as “Ha Nore” Safaris, was one of the first Safari Companies in the Northern Region of Namibia to develop and operate bowhunting only areas.

We still possess the finest bowhunting areas in Namibia. Our multiple references, articles published in bowhunting magazines, books written and videos made are proof of our success.

We have over 20 years of bowhunting experience. We created bow only areas for the bow enthusiasts.

There are 14 different bow hunting blinds situated all over Sandveld. Ranging from pit to elevated blinds that are spacious enough for traditional archers or compound archers. Bow shots ranging from 7 – 20 yards.

WING SHOOTING

​Namibia offers a wide variety of bird species from May to November to hunt. With us, situated in the North East of Namibia, we specialize in certain species of bird that occur in that area, such as Helmeted Guineafowl, Red-billed Spurfowl, Crested Francolin, Cape Turtle Dove, Laughing Dove and Burchell’s Sandgrouse.

Being a social event, wing shooting is best done in small groups. We take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 per group.​

We conduct our hunts early mornings waiting at water points for your Grouse and Dove species and late afternoons flushing the Spurfowl, Francolins and Guineafowl in the dry river beds.

You will be pleasantly surprised by what our chefs will prepare with your shoot of the day.

TOURS & SAFARIS

We conduct tours all over Namibia. Our destinations include Swakopmund (Skeleton Coast), Brandberg, Kamanjab, Etosha National Park, Bushmanland and the Zambezi Region (Caprivi Strip).

These tours are all tailored to your specific needs. 

To give our clients a more personal touch, we only take groups of 4 per vehicle. Our Professional Photographer will advise you on the equipment to bring and on how to take that perfect shot.
